Overview

The Massachusetts Association of Teachers of Speakers of Other Languages (MATSOL) is a non-profit professional association representing educators who work with English language learners (ELLs) and multilingual students across Massachusetts. MATSOL’s mission is to promote equity and excellence in the education of multilingual learners.

As a state affiliate of the TESOL International Association, MATSOL serves as the primary community for ESL teachers, school leaders, and researchers in the Commonwealth.
